What is PureWow?

PureWow is a digital publication for women covering national articles as well as local editions in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Chicago. Topics fall under the umbrella of women’s lifestyle, which includes fashion, beauty, home, arts and culture, money, tech, food and travel. Their local editions also feature local notables, from fashion and beauty icons to entrepreneurs. The motto of PureWow is to “Elevate the Everyday” and with gorgeous graphics, beautifully written articles and topics ranging from fashion to food to travel, they provide their readers with not only something enjoyable to browse and read, but also something inspirational.

Why is it on the ParadigmNEXT radar?

In May 2015, Managing Partner and Creative Director, Yana Nirshberg, was featured in PureWow as one of Chicago’s favorite entrepreneurs in a “Women Who Wow” article. As a Chicago native, she shared her favorite spots, ranging from nearby restaurants for team meetings to her favorite tech tips and places to visit.

How is it impacting the industry?

PureWow takes blogging to the next level, establishing itself as a “must-read” for locals. Chicago editor, Amalie Drury, couldn’t agree more, stating “PureWow exists to “elevate the everyday” for women, and it would be a must-read for me even if I didn’t live and breathe our content.
